Training Credits
World Wide Packets customers and partners can purchase training credits in quantity and at substantial discounts. These credits can be used to purchase any instructor-led training class at a World Wide Packets Training Center or at customer locations and can be used by individuals or groups to fund Standard or Customized Training Courses, as well as the Carrier Ethernet Certification Program. World Wide Packets Training Credits offer customers and partners compelling training cost savings with maximum scheduling flexibility.
Purchasing and Using Training Credits
Training Credits can be pre-purchased in quantities as small as 100 credits and up to 600 credits, which expire in 180 or 360 days. They can be purchased by contacting a World Wide Packets Account Representative directly or the Education Services team at es@wwp.com. Training credits can be purchased with LightningEdge products or can be purchased separately. Each Training Credit purchases one student-day of training. Course Training Credit costs are based on course duration and are equivalent to the number of days in a course (per student).
Once a customer or partner has purchased a block of Training Credits, the credits are immediately posted to a secure account in the Education Services Portal’s Automated Registration System and the purchaser or the assigned training point of contact (PoC) within the company is notified by email of the company’s Training Credit balance. Training Credits can be distributed to individuals, business units, regions, etc or managed as a single account. To facilitate distributed accounts, Education Services creates additional secure accounts that enable individual students or a company’s Training PoC to register for available classes at any time during the lifetime of the Training Credit.
As credits are used, they are deducted immediately from a company’s account balance in the Automated Registration System to provide accurate tracking of credit balances. The system also provides each customer with monthly reports on credit balances and time remaining before expiration.
Training Credits are not transferable or refundable. Use of training credits is subject to course availability and all other training registration terms and conditions apply.
