World Wide Packets Broadens Executive Team

Former Riverstone Vice President Joins Company as Senior Vice President of Operations  

Spokane Valley, WA – May 22, 2006 – World Wide Packets, a leading provider of Carrier Ethernet solutions, today announced the appointment of Scott McMillan as Senior Vice President of Operations. McMillan will focus on managing the overall operations of the company to perpetuate its ongoing growth and expansion. His expertise in leadership and organizational growth at carrier focused companies will benefit World Wide Packets as it continues global expansions. McMillan will help drive worldwide growth through recent partnerships signed by World Wide Packets.

McMillan brings over 25 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and information systems at some of the world's premiere networking and telecommunications companies to World Wide Packets. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Operations at Riverstone Networks, where he was responsible for building an operations team from scratch. In this position, he significantly increased operational performance, supply chain flexibility and inventory management with newly developed Sales and Operations Planning processes. He was also charged with installing Sarbanes- Oxley (SOX) compliant order management and IT process controls, which successfully led to the organization passing two SOX audits. Prior to his work at Riverstone, he held senior management positions with Compaq (Tandem Computers) and the Memorex Corporation. McMillan will be working primarily in World Wide Packets' San Jose office.
