World Wide Packets Continues Rapid Expansion With Silicon Valley Office

The new office is in response to the rapidly growing demand for the company's Carrier Ethernet solutions among its increasing service provider customer base. World Wide Packets has experienced a surge in customer engagements worldwide, and the opening of the San Jose office will increase access to Silicon Valley employees, partners and customers.
The new San Jose office will serve primarily as the engineering and product management development center for World Wide Packets. As the head of this new facility, Mike Nielsen, the executive vice president of engineering and product management, will be responsible for growing World Wide Packets' knowledge and expertise base in one of the nation's largest technology markets. Prior to World Wide Packets, Nielsen was the chief technology officer for Lucent's Integrated Network Solutions wire line segment and president of Lucent's Data Networking Group. His extensive 20-year engineering and industry leadership experience will ensure effective and efficient expansion of the company's Silicon Valley operations.
