World Wide Packets Achieves ISO 9001 Certification

The certification emphasizes the company's adherence to the highest standards of total quality management and reinforces its unparalleled customer promise of quality, value and service.

Spokane Valley, WA – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Feb. 7, 2005 –World Wide Packets, the leading provider of Ethernet Access Networking Solutions, announced today that it has received ISO 9001:2000 certification through BSI Management Systems. The certification emphasizes the company's adherence to the highest standards of total quality management and reinforces its unparalleled customer promise of quality, value and service.

The ISO 9001:2000 QMS is an internationally recognized quality management system (QMS) standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). To meet the certification requirements, companies must implement and document QMS processes involving training, product development, customer support services, supply chain management, and product delivery. The accuracy and speed of the World Wide Packets certification in less than 6 months without any non-conformance underscores the company's commitment that continuous improvement and customer satisfaction is the foundation for delivering world-class Ethernet Access solutions.

"By earning ISO 9001:2000 certification, World Wide Packets is further demonstrating its commitment to quality," said Gary Pearsons, President of BSI Management Systems. "To earn certification in less than 6 months without any non-conformance is true accomplishment. By formalizing their documentation and using ISO 9001:2000 as an extra set of eyes, World Wide Packets will be able to ensure unparalleled quality and remain at the cutting edge of their industry. The company's employees are committed and use well organized processes - ISO 9001:2000 certification can only improve an already top-of-the-line business."

"ISO 9001 certification proves the quality of our LightningEdge solution, but more importantly emphasizes our unwavering commitment to each of our customers," said Dave Curry, President and CEO of World Wide Packets. "We are extremely proud to offer the world's largest service providers and most advanced municipalities a product that exceeds their expectations and a customer experience that few companies in the telecom industry can match."

The ISO was established in 1947 and is currently an association of approximately 149 National Standards Bodies, which each represent their own country. The organization promotes the development of standardization in order to facilitate the international exchange of goods and services and develop intellectual, scientific, technological, and economic cooperation. The ISO 9001, a subset of ISO 9000 is considered one of the most comprehensive certification in the series, addressing all stages of design and manufacturing. It has been recognized as international reference for quality requirements in business to business dealings.
